Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Antalya on an official visit to participate in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, marking another key engagement in Pakistan’s diplomatic outreach.

Upon arrival, the Prime Minister and his delegation were warmly received by Antalya Governor Hulusi Şahin at the airport. Pakistan’s Ambassador to Turkey Yusuf Junaid and other senior diplomatic officials were also present to welcome the visiting delegation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to attend the fifth Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where global leaders, policymakers, and diplomats gather to discuss pressing international issues. During the forum, he will participate in the “Leaders Panel,” where he is expected to present Pakistan’s perspective on regional and global developments.

The visit also includes expected bilateral meetings with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and other world leaders on the sidelines of the forum. These discussions are anticipated to focus on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing economic cooperation, and addressing regional challenges.

The Pakistani delegation accompanying the Prime Minister includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and Prime Minister’s spokesperson for international media Musaddiq Malik.

Officials said the participation in the forum reflects Pakistan’s continued commitment to active diplomacy and engagement on global platforms. The event provides an opportunity for Islamabad to highlight its positions on peace, development, and international cooperation.

The Antalya visit is part of Pakistan’s broader diplomatic efforts to strengthen ties with regional partners and contribute to global dialogue on key geopolitical issues.
